OUR CHALLENGE
JP AERO were requested to assist in sourcing one of the most obscure type ratings for a Start up executive jet organisation throughout the Americas.
The engineer required to be proactive and confident to maintain flying operations to remote locations and able to work on his/her own initiative with no supervision working on long term secondment.
The challenge was also to provide full support to the client and candidate.
OUR STRATEGY
Firstly, was to adhere to our client’s expectations and flying operations, so as to design a support package suitable for both candidate and client.
Secondly, was to provide an innovative costing package and salary that was acceptable to both candidate and client.
This would demand regular contact with client and candidate to fully support the client organisation's flying agenda.
END RESULT
Intense executive search and over 25 years of knowledge and contacts within the industry led the JP-AERO team to identify a shortlist of suitable candidates.
Following an exhaustive interview process, the position was offered to one of the JP AERO candidates.
On acceptance of the position by the candidate, JP AERO organised supplementary training for the candidate prior to deployment with the client organisation.
During the following 18 months of operation, the client has added 4 additional aircraft to its fleet and added 6 additional engineers.
JP-AERO and the client have developed a working relationship that has enabled expansion within the client's European operations where we continue to add value to their business operation.

JP-AERO was requested to assist in sourcing 8 Licensed Engineers for an established Airline on a global basis. The resource requirement was immediate involving a complex deployment strategy throughout the Airline's worldwide operations.
The engineers were required to work on a continual unsociable rotating shift pattern that was unheard of within the civil airline industry. In addition, the flying operations and cycles of the airline exceeded normal operational demand levels – which presented additional challenges for JP AERO'’s recruitment teams.
The client also required JP AERO to project-manage the complete recruitment operation... including the relocation of the JP-AERO sourced engineers with the absolute minimum of input from the client. This included the organization of travel arrangements, hotel provisions, local transport etc.
Firstly, was to gain a full appreciation of our client'’s needs to enable our recruitment teams to use their vast knowledge of our industry to initially source the correct Type Ratings, documentation and the individual nationalities required to minimize our client'’s costs... whilst satisfying the individual travel and Visa requirements for each of the countries within the operational network of the airline.
Although the number of personnel required was relatively low, the challenge was extremely high due to the complexity of the Airline’'s operations. The input from JP-AERO led to the project being a phenomenal success and assisted the client in expanding their operations and clientele by a further 14% during 2011.
